I am a sophomore at the University of Oklahoma (studying meteorology) and I am currently in a Historical Geography class. I have been assigned a research project: I am to tie my family history into Historical Geography (i.e. how did my family get to where they are now, what made them decide to go there, etc.). My geneology is as follows:

Trisha Denise Brune, b. 1980 (I have two brothers, Marc Edward, b. 1976, Paul Nathan, b. 1979, and one sister, Tina Diane, b. 1985)
Mother: Cassandra Denise White, b. 1953 in Benton, AR, m. David Edward Brune (b. 1952 in Kansas City, MO) in 1973
Her father: Fred Thomas White, Jr., b. 1926, d. 1970, m. Camilla Ann Stegall, b. 1933 d. 1991.
His father: Fred Thomas White, b. 1905, d. 1983, m. Lillie Lea Beard, b. 1908, d. 1985.
His father: John P. White, b. 1876, d. 1906, m. Margaret Anjline (“Maggie”) Rowland, b. 1878, d. 1915.
His mother: Nancy E. Chastain, b. 1840 in GA, m. June 18, 1863 in Saline County, AR., Pleasant P. White, b. in TN.
Her mother: Elizabeth Self, b. 1820 in AL, m. about 1834 in Walker County, GA., John Nicholson Chastain, b. about 1815 in Buncombe County, NC., son of Rainey and Mary (Nicholson) Chastain.
Her father: Jessie Self, b. about 1782 in Granville County, NC, d. Dec. 9, 1868 in Catoosa County, GA, m. (1) Feb. 6, 1812 in Bledsoe, TN., Mary J. Narramore, b. June 2, 1792 in Lancaster, SC and d. 1850 in Walker County, GA; (2) Apr. 26, 1859 in Catoosa County, GA., Mary Burrell, b. about 1799 in NC.
His father: Job Self, b. about 1760 in NC. He m. --- and probably lived in Buncombe County, NC.
His father: Job Self, b. about 1715, probably in Westmoreland County, VA. Job first moved to Fairfax County, VA between 1749 and 1754 and then went to SC. He was in Orange County, NC in 1755 and in Bute County, NC in 1769. He bought and sold land in Warren County, NC between 1770 and 1782 and was a juror in Franklin County, NC in 1786. He had some troubles in 1766-68.* He m. ---, probably while he was still in VA.
His father: Stephen Self, b. before 1673 in Westmoreland County, VA. Died about 1731 in Westmoreland County, VA. He m. --- who may have died before him since she is not mentioned in his will.
His father: Robert Selfe, b. about 1637 in Melksham, Wiltshire, England. Died 1716 in Westmoreland County, VA. Known as “Olde Robert Selfe.” He was a wealthy man who paid the passage for six unrelated people from England to Virginia. He m. (1) Mary ---, b. probably in Wiltshire, England and d. after 1661 in Northumberland County, VA; (2) probably about 1667 in Westmoreland County, VA, Jane ---, b. about 1643 in England. My ancestor is the son of Robert Selfe's second wife.

If anyone knows any of the history of any of these people, could you please let me know? I would greatly appreciate any information.

Thank you!

Trisha
