My grandmother, Semira Serafini, emigrated to the US in about 1909. She came alone and worked as a housekeeper until she met and married my grandfather
Guissippe (Bepe) Farnocchia. He was a buliding contractor who came to US to rebuild SF after the 1906 quake. Semira has sister(s) in Argentina and may may family here in US as well.
