He remarried a woman named Effie, and in 1915 with wife and young family came to Canada. Children: Eleanor, Walter, Mable, Charlie, and Ernest from first marriage. Children from second marriage Sidney, richard, Harold, Mary, and Charlie. Samuel passed in New Jersey in April, 1943. His wife, Effie, passed away in the early 1960's.
