I have information about a Sirmon woman who married John F Buchan in 1834 or 1835. They lived in Texas. If you are interested in descendants this union I will be glad to share.

G.G.UNCLE JAMES BUCHAN WAS THE SON OF JOHN FARQUHARD BUCHAN--HIS FATHER HAVING COME FROM ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND. HE WAS BORN THERE 1735. HE FIRST SETTLED IN N.C. I have just returned from visiting a great friend in England. He mentioned that his grandfather was Joseph Sermon who died between 1940 and 1945. I am wondering if this timeframe "fits" with the Joseph Sermon you are looking for or know about.

Joseph Sermon born Aston Birmingham in 1848 illegita.We are searching for his Father as that would be the main Family line.Was in Dunstable Bedfordshire in 1909.Married a Mary Ann Tranter in Birmingham at Aston in 1868 they had two daughters and about seven sons Mary Ann believed to have died in childbirth. Any help would be great as regards Joseph's Father!

Joseph Sermon corn illeg.to Harriet Sermon about 1849 in Birmingham England.Joseph married Mary Ann Tranter in Birmingham in 1868.Six children born in Birmingham two more born in Manchester Lancs.George one of the children was born in Manchester in 1883.
George helped his Father Joseph in a pub in Dunstable around 1806-7-8-9.George was back in Machester in 1810 to get married there.Joseph still alive in 1920! Any help would be gratefully accepted Gillian

Looking for info on Frances Sermon( died around 1930) who married Charles M. Hilburn. A family member believes they were both born in LeCompte , Rapids Parish, LA. A daughter, Susan Ella Hilburn DeBate, was born on a plantation several miles from LeCompte- Rapids Parish in 1880. Can anyone help?

Looking for any info on Rebeca Sermon born in Nov 1870 or 1871. She married James Henry Pierce (born 5-1842 in TN. They had a son Henry Thomas Pierce born 9-20-1893 in Grayson cnty, KY. I think Rebeca's parents were Issac Sermon born 1830 in PA and Mahala born in 1840 in KY. Any help appreciated.
