SUSAN SERRANO Susan SERRANO, 56, a homemaker, passed away peacefully Friday, April 17, 2009, after a long illness. Susan was born July 27, 1952, in St. Paul, Minn. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor's degree in education. Susan met her husband, Julian, in San Francisco, where they were married and had their daughter, Estefania. Susan loved to cook, travel and spend time with her family. She was always patient, selfless and courageous. Susan appreciated every day of life that she had and found the best out of every situation. She will be remembered, missed and loved by her husband, Julian; and daughter, Estefania. Susan also left behind her parents, Marilyn and Gene Schwanker; sister, Sally; brother, Rick; nephews; and nieces. A private memorial will be held at the family's home.
