Sara, here's some material on your family. Noticing that your branch moved to Greer Co. Ok, I was wondering if you live in that area. Our daughter lives about 10 miles from Sayre Ok, so we visit there often. One of the sources for the Server Potter material was a man named Tom Underwood, whom I corresponded with in the 70's, back in the 'olden days' of pen and paper ! The connection of Catherine Server Potter to Peter and Millie Seaton Server is established by the Server Bible. If you will contact me priviately, I can provide you with my address for your records. I am leaving in the AM for the Texas Genealogical Society convention in Galveston. I will be back on line Monday of next week.

CHILD NOTES: Anna Catherine Server
Birth(13,14): The place of birth listed on the census was 'Maryland' which does not
seem to fit with the places of residence of this family. Her parents had reached
adulthood and married in Indiana. It would have been highly unusal for such a
young couple to have moved to Maryland for a period of time, had their first
child, then moved back to Indiana. Mistakes were frequent on the census
and when a complete census history is done on an individual ' it is easy to spot
an error. Had Anna not died before the 1860 census, I believe that it would
have shown a birth place of Indiana.
