Thanks to all who've recently helped me with information on Georg Seubert. I've now completed a fairly large chunk of information on the first Seubert family in Idaho.

For those interested: Georg Seubert was the son of Niklas Seubert of Wimbelbach, Germany, in Bavaria. Niklas immigrated in 1857 with his two brothers, Adam and George; the three brothers settled near St. Wisconsin. If these were the first Seubert families in Wisconsin, I do not know at this time, but would appreciate any information in this regard; there are a large number of Seuberts currently residing in Wisconsin.

If any of you know of your Seubert ancestors from Bavaria from the period of the mid-1800's, please contact me in hopes of establishing a connection.

I believe, however, that these were not the first Seuberts in the United States. Some internet sources have placed the Seubert name in the Colonies in the mid 1700's.

Currently, there are over 1800 seperate phone listings for Seuberts in Germany.
