Seufert Surname

Although my maiden name was Seifert, I have discovered the true name of my great grandfather was Frederick Balthasar Seufert.

He was born 3 April 1831
Died 25 August 1917.

I realize this is a long shot, but does his birth date correspond to the approximate time of "your" Frederick?

His father, I believe, was John Seufert.

Would like to hear from you on your research.
