I am seeking information on my Great Grandfathers family. He was born about 1871 in Norway. Came to the US about 1891, Married Molly Thompson. They lived in Galesville where he was a Sheriff??/bartender until he died in 1914. His original last name was something like Hjortemyhr or Yodamoor. Please help me.
