Abigail B. Carlton (or Carleton) was born at Wiscasset, Maine, 13 Aug. 1812, dau. of Miles Carlton and Miriam Sewall. Miles d. in 1813 and Miriam d. in 1819. Abigail is named in the will of her uncle William Sewall, dated and proved in 1827.
