I have been trying for a long time to get some information on a specific Shaak but have virtually no information to work with. I have a Shaak that married Judy Bower(s), unknow dates, and had a daughter Angela. I have a little more information on the Bower(s) family but not much. These people were from Pennsylvania. Do these names look familiar?

Hi Mike,

I'm trying to search the LAYSER backwards in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.
And I have a Russell Leon LAYSER b.1910 d.2001 and from an online tid bit of info from his obit it shows he was also married to a Mary ( Shaak ) REED.
I would like to have more info on her then just a name ...know what I mean? ( see the below info from Russell LAYSER's obit )
I did go to your website and didn't a surname REED on it.

From the "Patriot-News," Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, Sunday, September 16, 2001.

LEBANON

"Ada M. SHAAK, 97, of 590 S. Fifth Ave., died Friday in Cedar Haven.

She made clothing and was a gardener and a Lutheran.

She was the widow of Walter SHAAK. Surviving are two brothers, Calvin ZEHRING of Harrisburg and Daniel ZEHRING of Lebanon; and a sister, Emma SHERWOOD of Lebanon.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Zion (Goshert's) Cemetery, Bethel Twp.

Rohland Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 2001 N. Front St., Building 2, Suite 321, Harrisburg 17102."
