Apologies for this message and my obvious ignorance. My name is Kay SHACKLETON and I live in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. I'm working on my family tree but not getting very far. I've got back to the late 1800's in Cleckheaton, West Yorks. with John William SHACKLETON b.1876 and his father Samuel. If there is anyone out there who tihnks these names sound familiar I would appreciate any help. My ideal scenario would be to find a link to Sir Ernest SHACKLETON but i think thats a very long shot!!! Anyway to anyone that reads this thank you!
