I am trying to connect the Shafts from Shaftsburg, Michigan with the Shafts from the Chase County, Kansas area. My branch of the Shaft relation goes through Jane Parker Shaft who was from the Howell, Mich. area but moved to Kansas with her husband William C. Shaft in April 11, 1857. She was a sister of my Great Great Great Grandfather Parker. Does anyone have a tree of the Shaft family they would like to share? My mother had attended the family reunion in Kansas years ago and now she is gone and a reunion card was sent this month and is being planned for June 24th of this year '07 in Perry, Michigan. Would like to go, but I do not know enough about the connections to feel I should. Can anyone help? Kathy Liddy
