Am interested in finding our cousin, Alex Shale. He was born Jan 1884, in Lewis Co, N.Y. He is first mentioned on the census of 1915. We know from the newspaper the story of his birth, attended only by 2 farm boys who went for help when their sister hemmoraged. He stayed at Cummins Rd, which is locally known as Blair Corners for the Blair families which had several homes in the area. I am related to the Robert and John Blair of that area. We know nothing of schooling or trade for Alex,and surely would like any info we can get.
It is thought that his mother may have been slightly retarded, but noone can tell us for sure. Thanks, Caroline
