Surnames: Cook(e) McGinn Shaver Shafer

I am a newby on this board.
I am hoping to find anyone who has information on William Gordon Shaver born Eastern Ontario, Stormont Dundas & Glegarry Counties about 1833.
He married Mary Ann Cook about 1856-7.
Some of there children were:
1 Philander Herbert 1858 m Sarah Bell Ferguson and had son James Percy Shaver.(Philandr H Shaver was still alive in 1933.)
2 Frank 1857-___?,
3 Sanford 1861-___?,
4 Emma A 1864-____?,
5 Chalotte May 1866-_____?,
6 Barney William 1871-1946,
7 Charles Sydney 1873-____?
8 James 1875-____?
Barney and Charles Sydney had families in Thunder Bay Ontario Canada at the turn of the last century. The City was then known as Ft William and Port Arthur.
I am trying to find a marriage date for William G and Mary Ann Cook and parentage of both.
