Hi Joan,
I would have to disagree with Cork. All of his grandchildren and his daughter in law state Timothy was born in New Brunswick (of which I have a birth certificate) and that both his parents where from County Kerry, Ireland. In fact (his grand daughter) the nun told me where in Kerry a very long time ago, when I was young but for the life of me I can not remember. I have contacted the N.E.historical society, on the area and the time of arrival for Tims parents in Cambridge. They have told me that the part of Kerry's Corner, they resided in, that most of them came in from Newfoundland via Sneem, Kerry, Ireland. I have found no connection with a James and/or a Daniel at all in my research. There were many Shea's in Cambridge, but I dont think all are related, that is closely related for that time period. My search will involve Kerry Ireland for that is where my research is pointing me. I wish you luck on research with Cork.
