My husbands grgrandfather has a leather photo album and in it was a photo (Union Soldier) of what must have been a friend of his whom served with him in the 26th Ohio Infantry. It is labelled G. H. Shedd (though I believe the initials were reversed during transcription) -1861- Blessings, Salamanca, N.Y. If interested in having a copy of the photo, please advise.
