Surnames: Sheffield, Lee, Abbott
Can anyone help me find the correct info on William Sheffield, b. 1745 in Duplin Co., N.C.? I found him with two different wives listed, but the 8 children are listed under both wives. I have William married to Mary Abbott, and married to Rebecca Lee. Which is correct? If he was married to both, then which one is the mother of the children?
