Hello,
I was recently at the National Archives in Washinton DC and doing research on my Civil War ancestors and came across some information that I think belongs to a relation of this Elizabeth Shellhammer. I have a Perry County marriage certificate dated May 19, 1850 to a Henry Slatzer and Elizabeth Shellhammer. Perry County Probate Court, Volume 2, Page 324. I also have a copy of both Henry's Civil War Pension Certificate and Elizabeth's Widow's Pension certificate. Please let me know if this information belongs in your family tree. Henry Slatzer is a relation of my gr.gr.grandfather, Christopher Slatzer of Perry County, OH.
