According to the following reference, Gerneral Philip Sheridan had a brother Patrick who died without marrying, a borother Micahel who joined the US army, a brother John who moved to Ohio and a sister Rosa who died on the ship to the US.
General Philip Sheridan's grandfather was Patrick Sheridan, who had the following children: John (General Phil's dad), Philip, Michael, Patrick and Catherine.

Patrick Sheridan of Killinkere Parish diocese of Kilimore, Co. Cavan had four sons: Philip, Michael, Patrick and John, who was General Philip Sheridanâ€™s father, and one daughter Catherine.
Catherine Sheridan McCabe, who married James McCabe, had four sons, John who moved to America and in 1887 in Philadelphia; Luke; Thomas; and Andrew of Milwaukee Wisconsin. [Luke and Thomas may have also moved to Mil. Wis.]
John Sheridan son of Patrick, born in Killinkere Parish, Co. Cavan; removed to America and settled at Somerset Perry County, Ohio, where he died, his wife_ whom he married in the County Cavan, was in 1887 living in Somerset, aged 87 years. They had five children which the book describes as follows: â€œI. Patrick, who was born in Killinkere parish, co. Cavan, and went with his father to America, where he died young and unmar; II. Phillip of whom presently; III. Michael, born in Ohio, and now (1888) a Colonel in the United States Army; IV. John L. Sheridan, born in Ohio, and now living; V. Rosa Sheridan who died young at sea when with her parents on their voyage from Dublin to New York. Philip Sheridan, second son of John, was born in Killinkere parish county of Cavan; went with his father to America; was appointed cadet to West Point U.S. Military Academy; served in the United States Army which position he holds at present. Lieutenant General Philip Sheridan, married in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. and has had issue.
