Hello- I am Sue Richardson of Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England and I am the daughter of James Sherlock of Edinburgh, Scotland... As you can see he died a week ago and I am trying to trace his family roots... He was born in the above hospital, at the above date and his brother was Robert [ now deceased] and his sister Elizabeth [ Betty] now living in Lancashire- UK. He and his brother and sister were privately fostered out at a young age to the Retty family in Inverness by their parents Robert Sherlock and Susan[ nee McCabe] and then brought back to their parents when they were teenagers... Both lads were sent to a farming family and Betty was sent to a private house to undertake domestic service...

My dad joined the Royal Artillery to fight in the Korean War and then married my mother Beryl in 1951... I have a brother Robert- born in 1953 and I was born in 1963... If anybody can help in my search I would be extremely grateful... please feel free to get in touch...
