I have these four spellings in our ancestry. The oldest known is Joseph Sherly of Lancaster Co. PA. Ephrata is listed. Son Joseph II Sherly moved to Ohio.(Canton Area).
John C. moved to Kansas. Moved with the Pennsylvania Colony to Osborne City KS. My grandfathers family had Maria Anna,Joseph III, Martin, Leah, Henry, Susan, John C.,Jacob, and Elizabeth. John C. Sherley married Susan K. Mearig of Mechanicsburg, Pa.
