my grandfather was named William Sherrat. He and Wife Elizabeth came from England. I think he was born in Ireland not sure. Yhey had 2 sons James and William Sherratt of Lewiston, Maine. James lived in Auburn/he served in WWII went back to Auburn and married . They had no children. Hemarried only once but not at an early age/ I am their only grandaughter. William Sherrat was my Dad. He married Estelle Morin from Lewiston.
