Joseph Henry Shertzer

Seeking any info on the pedigree of Joseph Henry Shertzer (1830-1912) who states in his Civil War pension file (Co."A" 100th OVI) that he was born in Dauphin Co., PA and Harrisburg, PA (2 separate documents). It is thought that he moved to Ohio as a young man, and he died there at or near Perrysburg. That said, he married Nancy Whilhem and Harriet Burns, both in Monroe Co., Michigan. Any info is appreciated.

My grandfather Edward Lee Shertzer was born Dec 9 1921 and died July 8 1998. He married my grandmother Betty Louise Halderman born Feb 25 1927 in Greene County Indiana. They had one child- my mother Susan Kay Shertzer (Keller) born November 9 1949. My grandfather mothers name at her time of death was Leota Orsburn. She was born Feb 9 1903 and died Jan 1986. My grandfather did not live with her and his brother and sisters but with his grandparents. My grandfather was married before he married my grandmother to Daisy George. Does anyone have any information that could help me?

Edward Lee Shertzer

Edward Shertzer is my grandfather. My mother has asked me to try to get some information about our family. We don't know much. I know he was married to Betty Shertzer ( Halderman) before he passed away. They lived in Worthington Indiana. His mother's name was Leona. I don't know a maiden name or his father's name. We recently found out that he was married to another woman before he married my grandmother. Any information would be appreciated.
