I have an application for Social Security Account Number for an Edward Shier, born April 6, 1885. He was born in Morrow County, Ohio. His parents were Henry Shier and Elizabeth Tischer. (In the 1900 census Elizabeth is listed as Anna E. Shier.) Is anyone researching this family? I was looking for an Edward Shier who was my husband's great-uncle when I ordered this document, but this is not the same person. At the time he applied for the SS number in 1954, Edward was 69 years of age living at R. D. 1, Mt. Gilead, Ohio.
