No relation - just posting these obits for the benefit of Shipley & Schultz researchers.

Lusk- Graveside services for Thomas J. Shipely, 80, of Lusk will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Gardens in Casper, with American Legion Post No. 2 conducting the military rites.
Mr Shipley died Sep. 26, 1987 at Lusk. Born June 17, 1907, at Florence Neb., he was the son of Jacob V. and Emily (Banks) Shipley.
On May 22, 1942, he married Grace Schultz at Denver, Colo.
Mr. Shipley, who served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II, homesteaded south of Gillette prior to moving to Douglas where he was in the house moving business.
A member of the American Legion Post No. 8 since 1945, he has resided in Lusk the last several years.
Preceded in death by his wife in 1984, he is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.

Casper- Graveside services, for Grace Shipley, 82, of Lusk, will be held at 2 p.m., at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. with Rev. Marvin Skogen of Shepherd of the Valley Care Center officiating.
Mrs Shipley died Dec 17, at Lusk following a brief illness.
Born March 14, 1902 in Wisconsin, she homesteaded in the Thunder Basin area of Wyoming in 1917. On May 22, 1942, she married Thomas J. Shipley in Denver. They moved from Douglas to Lusk in 1978 and she had helped her husband in the house moving business. Besides her husband, she is survived by one brother, Vilas Schultz of Waukesha, Wis., and a niece, also of Wisconsin. The casket will remain closed at all times. Memorial Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.
