John Anderson NUTT came to Bee County TX with his family: four sons, Robert, John Anderson, William Samuel, and Pashal Bert, and a daughter Mary Ann in 1857. Robert Nutt married Amanda Bird and then Mary Ellen SHEIVES. Pashal Birt married Louvicy Smith, John Anderson married Nancy Snith SHIVE, William Samuel married Sarah Jane Yeater. Mary Ann married David Dubose. I have more information on this family.

My Great Grandfather was James (J.W.) Nutt, born @ 1872 who married another Shive - Nannie Shive on 5 Nov 1895 in Bee County, TX.

Evidentially, the Nutt family found the Shive/Shives/Sheives family very appealing in both personality and looks. The Nutt family migrated from North Carolina to Mississippi to Arkansas to Texas where they settled in 1856.

I need some information on the Shive(s) side of my family as there were so many links. Any information to be traded will be appreciated.
