Jane May (possibly aka Matilda Jane May) Shoptaw
I have a record that my gg grandmother's maiden name was Jane May, and that she married George Shoptaw in Greene CO, Ind in 1869; however, I can't seem to find any record of her prior to this marriage. It had to have ended before 1883 as my gg grandfather was married to Martha Herring in 1883. Any help on the May family?
