Yes, I would like to see what information you have on the Shouldice family. I've barely scratched the surface on my research todate. Most of the information that I have has come from living members of the family. Until now none were aware that a family history research project was underway.

Joseph Shouldice is the son of James Shouldice and Jane Boyd
Joseph was born in the Tipperary area of Ireland
His siblings include
Nicholas, Elizabeth, James, Margaret, Robert, Jane, Adam and John.
Joseph married Isabella Johnson and had the following children
Elizabeth, Margaret, Jennie, joseph, James, William, Mary

Joseph died in Blue Sea Quebec November of 1850

If you go to family search . org there is an ancestral file posted there which will help you fill large gaps in the shouldice family tree.

I am helping a friend search his Shouldice family.
I am looking for family information on Frederick Shouldice b. abt. 1891 Canada. He married Irma Lydia in early 1920's. Irma was born in Wisconsin which is where they were living in 1930. Frederick & Irma had a son in 1923 b. Wisconsin. In the WI census Frederick stated that he entered the US in 1906 though I cannot confirm this. This is the only information I have on this family. If you would have any suggestions on where else I might look or if you have any information I sure would appreciate any help.

i have a document from immigration 1800's joseph, son of herbert i think..entering canada in the late 1800;s..joseph being the father of harry if i read this right...harry had 3 sons, john h., gordon and harold g..lived in seattle washington in 1930 according to census papers..i am the daughter of john..altho i have never found any info until now about this family..with the help of a distant cousin on my grandfathers side, she has helped me locate these papers..now i need to find out about john and any siblings i may have..i was born 1938 in portland, oregon..pls reply if you have any info

i have found a little info in some immigration papers and 1930 census from seattle, wash..john, gordon, harold sons of harry and nettie, john was 18 at the time..he was 26 according to my birth certificate so that would make it the right time frame, i was born aug 1 1938..my mother was emma loretta owsley of portland, oregon..she said my father left when i was born and never heard again..she passed about 20 years ago..if anyone has any info or pictures of this family i would be so grateful..thanks

My great grandmother's name was Jennie C. Shouldice. She was married to Robert Stewart. Their children were Andrew, Hans Clifton (my grandfather, Archibald, and Dorothy. Andrew and Hans I am sure were born in Fort William (Thunder Bay)Ontario, Canada. I am not sure where Archibald or Dorothy were born. But Hans Clifton Stewart married my grandmother, Ruth Lessley in either Sparta, Illinois or in St. Louis, Missouri

Seeking info on the family of Joseph Shouldice came to Ontario, Canada from Northern Ireland early 1800s. Married to Izabell Johnston of Ontario, Canada. They had at least one son James Shouldice born 1838 in Ontario, Canada. They may have lived for awhile in Middlesex County.

Thanks so much for responding to my message. You are right, Charlotte Graham was my great-grandmother. My mother, Melinda Charlotte Shouldice, was named for her 2 grandmothers. Also, I am sure that at least one of my uncles had the middle name Graham. I did not know that my great-grandfather was named George. (I may have it in my notes somewhere.) My mother's brother, surely named for him, died as a child. I am grateful for the information that you have sent to me. You can reach me directly at xmascarol10@hotmail.com. I have a great deal of information on the Sholdice/Shouldice family, but I cannot seem to track down this particular John. Do you have anything more specific, ie dates, where they were settled, or other names?

Mr. Shouldice came west from Ontario in 1901 and farmed first at Namake, Alberta. Moved to Calgary in 1906 and farmed in Bowness area, Calgary, Alberta.

Christina Shouldice aged 46 was a publican in Ballaghaderreen in the 1901 census. Had children, Mary, Patrick, Christopher, Francis, Robert and Lizzie. Related to James Meehan and Winifred King. Possibly she was a niece or her husband (not home at the census night) was their nephew. Anyone know anything about this family?

It was good to hear from you! I have a book from the 1980 Shouldice Reunion. I haven't been able to piece it together. So many people with the same names. Yes, I think you have the right information for my family, and I appreciate it. My mother, Melinda Shouldice Sutton, just celebrated her 94th birthday and is in good health. I treasure my Canadian roots. My grandfather, Frederic Shouldice, used French words that I can remember. I am told he could dance an Irish jig. Thanks again. Carol Sutton Swanson

My great grandmother was Ruth Schouldice. She married a Stewart, first name unknown, and had three children in Ft. Williams (now known as Thunderbay), Ontario, Canada. There names were Archibald Stewart, Clifton (Scotty) H. Stewart (my grandfather) and Dorothy (Stewart) Dieken(sp).
Dorothy married Arnold Dieken and had two children; Suzanne Dieken and Stewart Dieken. Clifton married Ruth Lessley and they had 5 children, Robert Lessley Stewart (my father), Tippy Stewart and Mike Stewart (both died in childhood), Douglas Bruce Stewart, and Gerald Stewart all from St. Louis, Missouri.
I am searching for any info on Ruth Schouldice.
