I have recently been looking at some old posts for the Hart and family. I believe that Rhoda Hart's daughter, Melissa, married an Offutt before marrying Jesse Kidd in Missouri as appears on the 1850 federal census. Clarissa Offut (daughter of Melissa Hart/Offutt/Kidd) then married Nelson Shoults and they all went to Texas. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? I'm really trying to tie everyone together,and find my missing Offutt father.
I belive my Nelson Shoults is the son of Israel Shoults and Pelagia Valle, etc.
