I went to school with Daniel Scott Shuman at Valley Forge Military Academy & College in Wayne, PA. At that time his home town was Binghamton, NY. I think its only fair to list all the government agencies that offered him jobs but that he refused due to his feelings on the Viet Nam War. He was offered jobs with the NSA,CIA,Army intelligence, School of the Americas as just a very few after being presented with a medal from Richard Nixon for the Army ROTC Medal for Heroism in 1971. I thought I had better post this because he and I inadvertently get each others mail. We met at the same academy however my name is D. Scott Shumann. The last I heard he was working at a lighting store in Binghamton, NY as of 1996. I have unsuccessfully tried to reach him since then. As for me, I have just retired from our law firm in Cullowee,NC. Please,please,no more attempts by anyone to link me with Daniel! For years all those people who wanted to get to know the "real hero" have kept bothering me instead of him. I respected Daniel BUT enough is enough, as my first name is Douglasen (now you know why I don't use it) please stop sending me requests about him.As I remember him he liked Danny better than Daniel,so if you look for him try that!
