Charles and his wife Mary Jane Nye are living in Stockton CA in 1860. Living with them, Henry Clay Mallory of MA and his wife, Marie Bridges of ME (daughter of Otis Livingston Bridges 1798 ME later of Stockton, lawyer).
Anyone know the connection of Henry Mallory to the Sturtleff's. Henry was registered in SF in 1869.....He had a brother John F Mallory who married Abigail Howe of MA.
By 1880, George Shurtleff is listed as a phyician at an asylum and has a Daughter Georgia b 1858 CA....also living with him is a sister, Eliza C Shurtleff b 1827 MA.
