According to "The Descendants of William Shurtleff" Polly's father
was Barnabas Shurtleff who was born in Plympton, Mass., Dec. 3,
1778; d. in Carver, Mass., Jan. 23, 1832; m in Carver, Sept.
23, 1805, Zilpha Cole, b. in Plympton, June 2, 1783; d. in
Middleboro, Mass., May 25, 1871; dau. of Job and Polly Savery
I have more information back if you would like....Shurtleff all
the way back to William.
