I have Esther Sibley b.c.1816, England , married John Smith c. 1848. they came to Australia in 1848 on " Palmira " there were other Smiths with them probably relatives.
I have different birthplaces for Esther, some research done years ago suggests Fowlmere, Cambridgeshire and recent searching suggests Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire. Esther's father was possibly John Sibley b.c.1895 in Paddington, Middlesex. He may be the one married to Eliza Dennison in 1836 at Greyfriars, London. Any information on any part of the family and where exactly they did come from much appreciated. Can anyone help please ?
