My great-grandfather James Elijah Revelle or Revell or Revel was born in Missouri and lived in or near Stoddard County before about 1870. His first wife was Julia Ann Sifford. They married in 1865 but she died in 1866.
Then James went to Illinois around 1870 and married Sarah Mariah Stallings. Some census information spells the name Revell or Revel.
