To Roberto Godinez:I know my great grand father was from Chihuahua,Mexico,but there is a great variety ofSigala families in different parts of France,so I thought maybe during the 1700-1800-When France had a puppet emperor in Mexico and Maximiliano and his mate Carlota came from France with a ship full of French sailors and soldiers maybe there was a Sigala in his group.I know that the name is French or Spanish Basque name which is the part of France and Spain in the Pyrennes mountains where the Basque people live.Then again it may be spanish basque when the conquistadores came to America.
