I am looking for or any information about Christian Violet Eyford born July 26 ,1925 to John and Minnie Eyford in Winnepeg Manitoba. The family immagrated to Seattle,WA where they lived at 3001 60th in 1927-1930.She was apparently adopted in 1928.Family members in Snohomish County, WA are looking for her.The family used the name Sigurdson in Seattle and there after. The family attended Icelandic Lutheran church in Ballard area.Christine been adopted by a family named Nelson.We believe that the Nelson's name where Axel P. and Ada E.L. and had a son name Walter Stanley.They may have lived in the seattle area where Christine may have went to school.Christine may have went to Ballard High School from about 1940-1944.

Anybody with any information please let me know.

My grandfather's name is Harold Sigurdson. I'm not sure when his family arrived in Canada from Iceland, and I don't know anything about his parents or if he has any siblings. I believe his family settled in Manitoba though. Do you have any information on any family connected to him? He married Anne Anderson sometime around 1958.

I am looking for information on Carl Sigurdson, Iceland, a farmer in the Okanogon area of Washington State. He is either a step brother or half brother to my Great Grandmother Freda Hermanson (Sam).

Hi Janet,Thank You for your reply back,it would be great to hear from someone from the family. We are having a family reunion this weekend and my aunt has put together a book on the Bergsveinson side(katherine's parents & siblings)but the info on Katherine and her family is sketchy. Look forward to hearing.

i have contact with the family in WA state. my sister was married to one of katherine's sons. will contact family and see if they would be willing to contact you. just happened to see one of katherine's daughters yesterday but haven't researched the family for a year or so.

Looking for info on family in the Washington state area- I am related thru Katherine Sigurdson(nee Bergsveinson)-married John(i think) and had 4 children. Would like the children to contact me or be directed towards them so I may contact them. Any help is greatly appreciated it

What kinds of resources do you have to trace Sigurdson's? My grandfather - Sigurdur Sigurdson (Sigurðsson) came to Canada in 1910. His brother also came over - Magnus Sigurdson. There was another brother, Thorgrimur and their parents were Sigurður Sigurðsson and Margaret Magnusdóttir.

Searching for info on Enrich Armand Sigurdsen born 1905 in Honefoss, Norway. I am trying to find info on his first wife. I know nothing about her but know they had 3 children his biography in Vare Falne indicates this. I'm told as I can't read it.

Any info at all would be great. I know his parents info and I have his death certificate

How kind of you to post that message. I am looking for some history for my Sigurdson Family Tree.
My Father is Howard Sigurdson, his Brother Edward, his Father was Eggert Sigurdson and his Mother Lily Sigurdson. That's as far back as I have at the moment. If you have more, please let me know. Thank you very much.
