I am working on my family tree and was told that my great grandfather Peyton Bissette from Nash County, N.C. married a Cora Annie Silas. Peyton Bissette was born April 1827 in Nash County, N.C. and died in 1912 and buried in Bissette Cemetery , Sandy Hill Road, Bailey, N.C.
Cora Annie Silas was born March 23, 1849, Nash County and died Unknown. She was buried in the same cemetery as Peyton Bissette in Bailey N.C. I have search everywhere for info. on Cora and had no luck so anyone doing family search can help , I would appreciate it. I don't know alot about either one. I was told that Peyton was married to Susan Brown the first time. I don't know if maybe Cora had been married before and if maybe she had another name other than Silas> Please help!!!
