RE:SILAS FAMILY ANCESTRY

To all who view or browse:
My name is Daphne and I am in search of some ancestors and descendants of Tom and Lawrence of Keenansville or Kissimmee Florida.
Tom migrated from Ireland and went to Australia. He married an Aborigines Indian by the name of Elizabeth(Lizzie). Together they left and moved to Florida. They bore 10 children; one of those children was my Great-Great Grandfather, John Wilbur Silas.
I am in great desperation to find my living descendants and to find my living relatives. I am also, looking for these relatives so that we can put together a "Turn of the Century Family Reunion";so any and all information would be greatly appreciated. Please E-Mail me
with any details or information.
dee_in_2u@excitemail.com

Prayerfully,
Daphne

Desperately seeking grandfather in which I've never met.
My father has never met him either and is now 56 years old.
We were told that he is of Jamaican decent and live in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
However, numerous letters, cards, etc. have been sent to that address with no return note.
My research isn't extensive but makes me believe that he is still living. If so, his approximate age is 75 to 80 years old.

He is from Kissimme, Florida and was in the military years ago. He and his former girlfriend (my grandmother Rachel Pye) gave birth to my father in Indianola or Greenville, MS.
If someone knows him please contact me ASAP. Trying to allow the roots of history come together to keep our branches a flow.

As a reference check out this website: www.switchboard.com

Thanks,

Prayerfully,
Daphne

Robert Macree Silas Georgia to Florida

I'm looking for relatives of Robert Macree Silas (b. 17 Feb 1867 - GA) He was married twice and I believe he had 4 children, 3 sons and a daughter. His youngest son, David Edward Silas (b. 28 Mar 1903 - Suwannee County, FL) was with his second wife, Sarah "Sallie" Linorah Lee (b. 18 Apr 1874 - Hamilton County, FL)

His other 2 sons, possibly Walter and Bill, were from his first marriage. I'm not sure who his daughter's mother was, but I think his daughter's name was Vida.

From what Iunderstand, Robert Macree moved to Florida with his 2 brothers. I don't know where or when he and his first wife were married, nor do I know where Walter, Bill and Vida were born.

I'm at a dead end....HELP!!! My email is kms-j@home.com
