Looking for info on any Sill family in or near Placer County, CA in the 1850-1878. I am looking for a long lost g-grandfather named George Sill and found a George age 15 in the 1870 census of Placer Co., CA, working as a farm worker, and probably an orphan. He is the right age of my ellusive George. Any help would be appreciated.
