I have three original carte de visite (2-1/2” x 4”) photographs, one each of “Robert Robertson” (father), “Aunt Ella” (mother) and “Bert” Robertson (son), which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo of Robert was taken in Whitewater (Walworth Co.) WI and he looks about age 35. Photo of Ella shows her to be about age 25. Son Bert looks to be about age 4, and his picture was taken in Ft. Atkinson (Jefferson Co.) WI. These pictures came from an album with most names of Ives.

I found the family in the 1900 census for Jefferson Co., WI, showing father Robert, born Jul 1835 Scotland; mother Ellen M., Jun 1845 WI; children William B., Feb 1875; and Lawrence B.; Mary E.; Robert E.; and George D.

Ancestry’s OneWorldTree, showing William “Bert” Robertson (born Feb 1875 Oakland, WI) was son of Robert Robertson and Ellen M. Silverthorn. Robert Robertson was born Jul 1835 in Peatshire, Scotland and died 1915 in Ft. Atkinson, WI. Ellen Maria Silverthorn was born Jun 1845 in Oakland, WI. OWT even shows that William Bert married Grace Gist.
