Hello. My name is Doreen and I live in Sacramento CA. My mother was Lorraine Simaneau and was married to William Clark. Both my mother and father were raised in Syracuse, NY. My mother Lorraine had several sisters and I only know a few of their names which are Janet, Penny. My grandmothers maiden name was Roy. I believe we may be related.

My name is Julie (Simaneau) Squadrito, from Syracuse my father was Henry P Simaneau, he had 1 brother Albert and seven sisters, Viola, Lorraine, Lilian, Penny, Janet can't remeber the other two. I believe the man you reference is our grandfather.

His mother is Elaine Grace Simaneau she married a Arthur David Rogers on of the children was named David William. I am looking for additional information on the Simaneau name. my Grandfather was (Porsper simano or Simaneau) the name
was changed way back. I believe that (Henry Simaneau) was one of my uncles. I have been searching my ancestry for some time. There is a (Suzanne Camus) in new york near
buffallothat i just made contact with who i think can shed a
lot of light on our back ground. I haven,t made contact with (Rick) so if he reads this get back to me.

We share the same grandparents. I am one of your cousins, the daughter of Lorraine Simaneau who married William Clark and moved to California. We are very excited to hear you are out there, we have often wondered about our family back east. I know from Grandmothers obiturary that your father must be a David Rogers it doesnt say which of her sisters is your mother. Please respond ASAP very anxious to hear from you.

Sue, this is Adele's oldest son. The name of the town was Salisbury beach.

Here is some info on the Henry J. Simaneau that I know. Born 1 Jul 1892, Died Aug 1982. His wife was Albertha Marie Roy Born 1 Mar 1894, Died 19 Oct 1967 in Syracuse N.Y. They had, I believe 9 children including a Henry Prosper Rogers who was born on 20 Jan 1926.

My maiden name is Simano which was shortened by my grandfather Alexander Prosper Simaneau he had married my grandmother Odile Pelliter.His first name as listed on his death certificate was Prosper even though we thought it was alexander.
I know that grandpa had a brother named Henry,and quite often grandfather would leave town and visit Massachussets and stay for weeks at a time.Grandpa had 6 children named
alexander,charlotte,loretta,ronald,fred and adele. I am the daughter of Ronald who just passed away on June 9 2000.We do live in the Buffalo area just about 15 miles outside of the city.I too have heard they also changed the name to Simoneau,Simaneau and Simano

Looking for any Simaneau (Simoneau) with relationship to Henry J. Simaneau from Massachussets. He was raised on Indian Lane. Later moved to Syracuse, NY and possibly Buffalo, NY. I believe he retired in the Petersburg, FL area. Any leads would be appreciated. Posted by Grandson
