Surnames: Simkins, Simpkins, Welker, Dean
Researching Simkins from Columbiana Co., OH - Nathan m. Amy Welker 1840s. Who are his parents?
They moved to Iowa in 1860s. Son David Nathan Simkins seems to have disappeared after leaving family (probably divorce) around 1885 to 1895. They lived in Mason City, IA; wife named Keziah (Dean). Some reports he died in Salvation Army Home in St. Louis but S.A. has no record. He and twin brother Daniel mentioned in obit of father as being in St. Louis.
Reached dead end. David Nathan is my great-grandfather. Any suggestions?
