I'm looking for any information on John Simmons of Massachusetts who was born supposedly abt 1644 and died 11 Nov 1711 in Freetown, MA. I have seen conflicting info as to where he was born, possibly in Scituate or possibly in England. I've seen his father mentioned as both John and Moses Simmons.
He may have been married to Martha Shepherd who was born abt 1648 and died aft 1691.

I have found mention of at least 10 children, most or all born in Taunton, MA but I am most interested in possible daughter Martha Simmons, born abt 1685 in Taunton. She was the wife of John Cleveland of MA. I am a descendant of John and Martha (Simmons) Cleveland.
