Additionally I need info on John's parents who remained in Europe. Andrew (Andreas) Simon and first wife Eleanor Jabs.

Supposedly my grandfather's sister or aunt, Helen(e) Simon, lived in the Philadelphia area after emigrating from Germany. She is not on your list, but I thought someone might have her.

My grandfather was John Simon, who settled in South Dakota. His father was Andrew Simon who was married to Eleanor Jabs, and they remained in Germany/Poland/Russia. All were Lutherans.

Edward Simon in Louisiana, 1920

I'm trying to locate my great-grandfather in 1920. He was Edward (Edouard) Simon, b. 1872 in Vacherie, St. James, and was married to Marie Felicia (Felicie) Millet, b. 1875 in Paulina, St. James. Edward and his family were living in St. James Parish (7th ward) in 1910 and had moved to the Garyville, St. John the Baptist area (Ward 6) by 1930. I have been unable to locate the family in the 1920 census and would like to know when they moved from St. James to St. John. Edward and Felicie died in Garyville in 1947 and 1951, respectively. Several of their children remained in St. John the Baptist Parish.

Merci,
Morris

Simon is a very common name. It's a long shot, but I have a bunch of Simon family I'm researching. My great grandmother was one of 8 children and most if not all eventually wound up in California. I am trying to find offspring family members from them. My family tree has old photos of them. You could look to see if there is any resemblance.

I can't help quite yet, My great Grandmother's maiden name was Simon, she was one of 8 or 11 children born in the late 1800's / early 1900's. She had brother's, and I am currently looking for thier offspring. The most recent Simon name was a female born in 1909, which her married name wouldn't carry down to 1967. There are many more I'm trying to find. The other Simon men I have no names of thier children yet. I will keep your email so if I ever come across a match I will let you know.

Hello, What did you mean, that you've done the Simon line. What Simon line? Aren't all the Simons of Lewis, Barbour, Harris, etc (West Virginia) all related in one way or another? Are you Lewis Bunker Rorhbaugh? My 4th Great Grandfather was George Simon, who married Cecilia Reger, proven by their marriage bond and other documents. They are on the 1860 census record on Barbour County, the marriage bond is from Lewis and finally, they end up in Missouri according to the 1870/80 census, due to my Mother excellant researching abilities. Please email at:weghed@hotmail.com. I would love it it some one untangled the mess of Simons in West Virginia in these and other countries with actual documentation of relationship. Thanks, Misty Please email at weghed@hotmail.com

I don't have a first name of the female Simon who gave birth to a daughter 3/8/1967. She appears to be mixed race, possibly black/white, puero rican/white or hispanic/white. Her birth certificate was amended in 1971 when she was adopted by an African-American couple. She was born at El Camino hospital. All we know is that her mothers last name was Simon at the time of her birth, no father listed on the birth certificate.

I don't have a first name. On the birth record that I paid a searcher to do, it just gave the mothers last name and no father listed on the birth certificate.

She was adopted out of Santa Clara County in 1971. But she was born 3-8-1967. Most likely El Camino Hospital.

Edward F. Simon

I'm looking for any information on my great uncle, Edward F. Simon of Pittsburgh, PA. He was killed in action on June 22, 1943 in a B-17 over Germany. He was a waist gunner with the 91st. Bomber Group, 324th. squadron. There is also a story of him fathering a daughter before leaving for the service. She would probably have been born around 1940-41. Any information on either of them would be greatly appreciated.
