Jennie Elizabeth Simper Moon, age 91, died Dec. 30, 2004 in Salt Lake City.
Born Aug. 13, 1913 in Vernal, she was the daughter of Walter and Edna Bowthorpe Simper. She married Marion L. Moon Dec. 1, 1933 in Jensen. He preceded her in death Oct. 3, 1956. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many positions.
She is survived by children, Marlin (Lorna) Moon, Midvale; Kenneth (Ora) Moon, Sandy; Carma (Jed) Burton, West Valley City; daughter-in-law, Ann Moon, Jensen; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Verna (Charles) Cardwell, Salt Lake City; Devear Porter, Morgan. Also preceded in death by sons, Lyman and Larry; two brothers and one sister.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, 11 a.m. at the Jensen Cemetery A viewing was held Sunday, 5-7 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
