Our Simpkins family has hit a brick wall with finding the family of our ancestor, Robert Simpkins b: poss.1785 in New York or Virginia and d: bet.1850-1860 Montgomery, Morgan, Bath County, Kentucky. So, we have decided to try and connect our family through DNA. We believe Robert is possibly related to the Simpkins Family in Montgomery, and Pulaski Co,Virginia ca: 1770's-1800's, or possibly Dutchess County New York Simpkins 1700's. We have completed a Y-DNA 46 marker test at Ancestry.com.
