One record for Rebecca says Williamson, William's death information in paper says Wilkinson...

I show William Sine birth 4/14/1817 New Jersey. moved to Philadelphia @ age 15 with parents. Then moved to Cincinnati, OH. In 1847 married Rebecca (Wilkinson). They had 4 children. 3 sons, 1 daughter. Alva was the only one to survive past infancy. Moved to Henry cnty, IN in 1856. 9 years later moved to Dillman, Jackson Twp, Wells Cnty, IN. William had 2 other brothers and 2 sisters. Buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wells Cnty, IN.

I show that Rebecca (Williamson/Wilkinson)Sine died age 77 on 9/6/1907 in Dillman, IN. Her father was Joel Uichinson and her mother was Hannah Basises. She is also buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wells Cnty, IN. This paragraph of info was from the Funeral Home records 1891-1990 of H.Brown & Son Warren, IN...

The information you have on Alva's parents is correct. I have added what I have. I have an obit copy for William Sine. Can't locate Rebecca's. Have also seen William's will. Gives all his land and money to Rebecca and upon her demise, to their son, Alva.

I am wondering about the child they had living with them during their time in Dillman, IN. George Dillman...if you have any info or know of anything, please let me know. Thanks for your information, I hope this helps you out.

I will look through my stuff. If I don't find anything here Fl. I will be in Ohio for the summer starting in May. I am only about 20 miles from the State Gene. Library. So I can check there for you. I will only be about 70 miles from the historical society, so I will probably be near there some time during the summer. Thanks again Ann Morris

I have a lot on William Sine if your interested but my stonewall is any thing before him. There is a lot on info on him on ancestry.com but I found some mistakes in it. Was put in by a second cousin and I don't want to cause friction with her. Thank you so much. Ann Morris

I know that their daughter Martha Sine married Stephen Archer who was a revolutionary war vet, she was about 21 and he was elderly then she married later Thomas Rice. Do you know anything else about Martha Sine? Her daughter Permelia Sine married Abraham Ammons. It is suggested after Archer's death she went to Ohio and had a couple more children. Any help appreciated.

Hi Gina, all the names for the children are from a transcript I had made of the final estate settlement of John David Sine as recorded in Will Book 2 page 328 at the Shendoah courthouse. I did not make the transcript myself but had Linda Varney who lives there do so for me.

The BIG question is who are the parents of John David Sine 1779-1749? I place JDS under Adam Sine 1750-?? & Catherine Houdeshell. I have no actual proof of this whatsoever. I base this assumption on other assumptions, pretty shakey, eh? Anyway I feel if the accepted given ages of Adam 1750, John 1755, Henry 1767, and Peter 1769 are correct, then only Adam and John would have been old enough to have a son born in 1779. John 1755 I believe went first to Hardy county then to Monongalia county and then west. But there is a slight chance JDS could be the son of John 1755, I think not.

I have one other small item I think refers to JDS.
SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VIRGINIA MINUTE BOOK
1807
Nov 9
- John Sine is charged for the support of a bastard child of Eve Bechtel.

I believe this could only be JDS 1779 and I have JDS marrying Elizabeth Bowers on 2 Aug 1808. Sorry I did not source that marriage date. I will have to see where I got that date from.

Hi Gina, you have all the siblings right, just the wrong parents. Well, I have all the same siblings but not Catherine, who very well could have been Catherine Sine Cash as she is mentioned in the final estate settlement. The correct parents are John David Sine b ca Sep 1779 d ca May 1849 and Elizabeth Bowers.
danny

Hi Patricia, I do not have much data on Wilbur Wright Sine 8 Dec 1899 - 3 Nov 1977 or his wife Louise J. Poore. Wilbur was given his mother's maiden name for a middle name. His mother was Ida Adelia Wright 21 Aug 1866 - 26 Jan 1936, His father as you already know was Wilbur F. Sine 26 Dec 1866 - 16 Mar 1926. Both Wilbur's parents are buried in the Massnutten Cemetery in Woodstock, Shenandoah, VA.

I do not know where Wilbur Wright Sine is buried but he died at Fort Pierce, Saint Lucie, FL on 3 Nov 1977. I have only the same data you posted on Louise J. Poore, nothing else. I do not have her actual birth date or death date or the number of children she and Wilbur had.

I imagine you are more interested in the Poore ancestry rather than the Sine. I have only the Sine ancestry for Wilbur Wright Sine nothing on the Poore line. If you do want the Sine ancestry, I can send that in an email.

If you have additional children of Wilbur and Louise, I would be interested.

Hi Doris, I found this and I am sure that Homer in this article is really Holmes Sine and the boy is Eston. BTW I am leaning very heavily towards your Robert Washington Sine being the s/o Philip Sine 1796 and Rebecca Cross. I have no actual proof. only ciurcumstantial census data putting Washington in the very same area in Hardy county WV. danny

The Arizona Republican Thursday Morning July 19, 1906 page 5

HE WRUNG HIS FINGER – The two-year-old son of Homer Sine, who resides on a ranch in the west part of the county, met with an accident yesterday morning which, had not the proper medical attention been secured, would have resulted in the loss of a finger for the boy. The child was playing near a place where a washing was being done and a clothes wringer was in operation. Child like, he approached the wringer, and when it was being operated he stuck the index finger of his right hand into the cogs. The end of the finger was very badly crushed but a small particle of the cuticle kept it from dropping off entirely. The boy was brought to Phoenix and Dr. Swetnam dressed injured member. It is now considered more than likely that the entire finger will be saved.
