my great great grandmother (Ha)nora(h)Singer's grandparents came from Alsace Loriane in the early 1800s and open a fish store. Hanora married 3 times in late 1875-80 to a William Tenny and had a son william who married a margret(greta)McCandless,had 2 sons and 5 daughters and a daughter Lillian Veronica Tenny who married a aloyisus garry and had 7 daughters. Hanora married a (Fredrick?) McCandless (no relation to william's wife) had another son named fred and a daughter named Ida who married a laing then Hanora married ? wren and had helen and eddy wren. Helen married a william seamen and died having her only daughter Rita. Lillian raised her along with her other 7 daughters.
