I am trying to find information on NeHalsingh family. My inlaws, Walter I. and Claudia A. NeHalsingh came to America in 1924 from Trinidad. Claudia's maiden name was Dickson. I know she had a brother named Bliss Dickson and a brother named Samuel "Joy" Dickson and a sister named Ruth. They were from Grenada, although Bliss lived in London and Ruth migrated to Canada. Samuel lived in Trinidad. Walter came from Trinidad as far as I know. His father's name was Charles Rutherford NeHalsingh. I'm not sure where to begin looking for this family. Walter and Claudia lived in Boston from 1924 until they passed away. They had 8 children who were born and raised in Boston. The children were raised believing that they were Sikhs, although not practicing ones. Any information would be helpful. I have the Ellis Island information which is partially wrong, but anything prior 1924 is missing.
